The solution for medium-sized enterprises provides greater security measures than smaller companies solutions, distributing its services for more servers. The security appliance IPBrick.KAV is the front door of the company, filtering contacts and unwanted or potentially dangerous content. Both the servers IPBrick.I, responsible for data storage, and the appliance IPBrick.GT, responsible for Unified Communications, are well apart from contacting directly the outside world. Outside the company's perimeter, a datacenter on an external housing or in the DMZ, is located IPBrick.C, a server that contains the web server and can also mail relay.

Master / Slave architecture means that all intranet services are provided by the master server and replicated synchronously by the Slave server - in case of unavailability or failure of the master server, services are assumed by the slave machine.
